By downloading, installing, or using the bit21 application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Self-Custody Wallet
bit21 is a non-custodial Bitcoin wallet. You are solely responsible for the security of your recovery phrase (seed phrase) and private keys. bit21 does not have access to your funds and cannot recover lost or stolen Bitcoin.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for: securely storing your recovery phrase, maintaining access to your device, ensuring the accuracy of transaction details before broadcasting, and complying with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
4. No Financial Advice
bit21 does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Market data, price alerts, and analytics displayed in the App are for informational purposes only. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
5. Risks
Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. Sending Bitcoin to an incorrect address may result in permanent loss. The value of Bitcoin is volatile and can decrease significantly. You acknowledge and accept these risks.
6. Service Availability
bit21 relies on third-party blockchain infrastructure and APIs. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the App or its features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bit21 and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of Bitcoin, unauthorized access, or service interruptions.
8. Intellectual Property
The bit21 name, logo, and App design are the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without prior written consent.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
